About us

A Place For Teachers is a complex, all-inclusive website made for teachers that includes many facets. Drawing on examples from films including Freedom Writers, To Sir, with Love, and School of Rock, A Place For Teachers exemplifies the main themes, plots and characters throughout these educational films. Furthermore, this website provides resources for teachers offering support, comfort, and aid relating to the different problems that arise throughout these three films. 

Our names are Gabby Paolini, Emma Hagan, and Avery Puricelli and we are students at the University of Colorado Boulder striving to make a difference in the educational world. Inspired through our "Education in Film" class, we wanted to make a website tying in multiple aspects that we learned. Tying in evidence from three of our favorite films from the semester, we have provided resources for teachers to use surrounding the main issues that arose in these films.
